By the end of the clinic participants will:

- Have learned how to select the correct type of RV for their needs and budgets
- Have been introduced to various RV lifestyles enhancements to expand their RV usage and fun
- Have the opportunity to establish and develop camaraderie with fellow RVers
- Be given the opportunity to complete the “RVSEF Safe Driving Program” and receive a certificate of completion for a possible Insurance Discount through your insurance provider
Additionally, participants that choose will be presented with the opportunities to receive an RV safety inspection, get their RV weighed for comparisons to component and vehicle ratings, and experience RV hands-on driving instruction. These are in addition to the clinic and will be scheduled at opening of clinic.
With the passing of Gaylord Maxwell and the subsequent decision of the Maxwell family to not continue the Life on Wheels program, RVSEF decided to put together their own program similar to that of Life on Wheels. RVSEF has always believed this type of educational program is needed and wanted by RV consumers.
The RV Safety & Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization with its principle place of business in Merritt Island, Florida. It is dedicated to the improvement of recreation vehicle safety, with a focus on consumer education. The organization is tax exempt under Internal Revenue Section 501(c)(3).
RVSEF began as A'Weigh We Go (AWWG) in 1993 as an RV weighing program. As time passed, we quickly realized that there was a need for RV weight and tire education, so we began our safety seminar programs. Our seminar programs and weighing service became the recognized source of accurate, unbiased information for the RV owner who was serious about operating his RV safely. AWWG was the beginning of a revolution in the RV Industry, and was responsible in part for the weight disclosure labels now found in new RVs, as well as a heightened interest by RV manufacturers in the weight of their products.
